The Pratyasha Prakalpa ("Hope Project") is a compassionate financial assistance scheme launched by the Labour Department, Government of West Bengal. The scheme is designed to provide a one-time financial grant to the next of kin of workers from West Bengal who unfortunately die an unnatural death while employed in a foreign country. The primary objective is to offer immediate financial relief to the bereaved family to help them cope with the sudden loss of the primary earner.
