The Pathashree Abhijaan ("Road-friend Campaign") is a large-scale road repair and maintenance scheme launched by the Government of West Bengal. Unlike schemes that provide direct financial benefits to individuals, this is an infrastructure development project. Its primary objective is to repair and reconstruct thousands of kilometers of damaged rural and urban roads across the state, ensuring smoother connectivity, safer travel, and improved access to essential services for citizens.
